A couple having a holiday in a Pembroke holiday home ordered groceries online from Asda in order to make an evening meal. However, around 7pm the couple went out and when they returned the deliveryvan had called and left a note. The couple then rang customer services to cancel the order rather than reorder. However, when they got back home a week later, the wife checked the card statement and found that she had not been refunded.
On investigation from a Guardian reporter contacting Asda, Asda made a full refund plus a voucher of £30 to be spent in Asda.
