Asda’s introduction of Beefeater London gin blood orange has proven to be a big hit. With its bright orange colour and original design it has attracted many curious drinkers. And at £14 they have not been disappointed, with its tangy flavour you can now get some valuable vitamin C while pickling your liver.

Asda have undercut rivals with a well priced decent and attractive drink. They are trying to beat their previous success with Beefeater pink gin and it looks like they have with sales beating  the more feminine looking drink already.

Asda recommends mixing it with tonic, ginger ale or low calorie soda water. But Gin is a versatile drink and blood orange gin will find itself as the basis of many exotic and refreshing cocktails
